On the Road... Guilt
Call to Worship and Prayer
Assign one leader, or let a different family member say each line. Add your own prayers to each line.
God, give us a moment to stop and pray, to stop and worship… (silence)
God, we ask you to be with our family and friends, especially…
God, we thank you for…
God, guide our actions, guide our hearts and guide our minds this day. Amen.
Suggested Songs and Hymns
What role does guilt play in your faith and life?
How can we let go of shame and accept grace?
Either have one person lead, or everyone say together. Remember this is a blessing, look each other in the eye.
The Lord bless you and protect you.
The Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you.
The Lord lift up his face to you and grant you peace.

Life is not worth living if you are unable to do the little things you love. I have been clueless for the longest time what could these things actually be. I remember I was a six year old girl and I heard about another girl who is able to land her dream job at age twelve. I wanted to follow her path. I worked hard to be good at what I do. Yet when I reached that age deadline, I found myself always being dragged to a box the society wanted me in. It broke my heart. I am still broken up to this moment.
