1.         Christ-Centered Ministry - We want everything we do to be a result of our relationship with and love for Jesus Christ. (John 17:3, Colossians 1:18)

2.         The Least of These - We believe everyone we encounter is someone who matters to God, and someone for whom Christ died. It is our privilege and mandate to offer Christ  to people through the power of the Holy Spirit, leaving the results to God. We believe everyone needs Jesus.  (Luke 15:10, Matthew 28:18-20, Revelation 5:9, Matthew 25:31-46, Acts 10:34-43

3.         Discipleship - Jesus’ parting challenge to the church as he ascended into heaven was for us to go and make disciples. Disciples of Jesus are made, not born. Disciples result from a deliberate process of training and spiritual formation.  God’s desire is that every individual in the church personally embrace the Great Commission—that, in one sense, we are all “missionaries” wherever we are located. All believers are to be “on mission,” to do their part in reaching their city, nation, and the world for Jesus Christ      while personally embracing this mission. God’s will is that every individual work together with others as a team, serving within their giftedness and unique role as part of    that team in fulfilling the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20, Ephesians 4:11-16, 1 Peter 2:9)

4.         Forgiveness - Jesus extends a loving invitation for forgiveness of sins which is only possible through His shed blood. He gave His life so that we may live. We are forgiven  because He was forsaken.  Through our forgiveness we seek reconciliation and forgiveness with one another so that we are freed to love one another unconditionally and be unified as the Body of Christ. (Isaiah 55:6-7,  Matthew 6:14, Matthew 18: 21-22, Colossians 3: 13 Ephesians 1:7)

5.        Inclusiveness - We embrace diversity; understanding that all people are loved by God. We seek to create a non-judgmental, grace filled, environment that seeks and welcomes all people of all ages, races and gender. (Galatians 3:28)

6.         Spiritual Formation - We understand that no one is perfect, but with God’s help we can learn new ways of living and being more and more like Christ. We seek to build a foundation for people to grow in Christ-like character. (Ephesians 4:22)

7.         Missions and Outreach - We seek to live our faith in action that alleviates human suffering both locally and globally. We are convinced that the church does not exist for   itself but also for those beyond the walls of our building. We seek to intentionally share our faith with those not connected to a church so that they may know of God’s great love for them. (
Luke 4:18, Philemon 1:6)

8.         Worship - We esteem worship as a central act of the church. We seek to be relevant to people of different generations and backgrounds so that all can praise God in ways that best connect them to God. We worship of God in an effort to thank Him for who He is and what He has done (Ps 150, Rom. 15:9,
1 Corinthians 14:16-17,  Hebrews 2:12, James 5:13)

9.         Love - Worldly definitions of love typically include a feeling of strong attraction that overcomes us or we fall into. But Biblical love is much more than this; it is a way of life, a   more excellent way.  Some consider love a virtue or character trait. But the Bible teaches that love is a spiritual grace produced by God. Jesus also reminds us that the     greatest thing we can do is Love God and love our neighbors.  Therefore love is at the heart of any church. (Matthew 22:34-40, Matthew 25:31-46, 1 Corinthians 12:31)

10.       Families - We believe that strong families are foundational for the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual development of each individual; for healthy relational patterns    within the church; and for stability in society. Strong families produce strong churches and strong communities (Ephesians 5:22-6:4)

11.       Community - We value the fellowship of believers and strengthening our relationship with God through each other as a community of Christian friends, that God is able to begin the healing process in our lives. And we not only need a place where we can   receive this kind of love and support, but also a place where we can give it to others. (Genesis 1:26, Romans 12:5, Acts 2:44-46, Acts 4:34-35, 1Thessalonians 4:9-10)

12.       The Grace of God - God’s grace through Jesus Christ is our bedrock and power for our salvation, our life in Christ and our ministry, both individually and as a church  (2 Corinthians 9:8)

13.       All are Gifted Ministers - We believe that every single follower of Jesus Christ has at least one spiritual gift. And if every follower of Jesus Christ has a spiritual gift, then each of us has an area of ministry for which God has gifted and designed us. What this means is that God wants every follower of Jesus to use their lives to make a difference for eternity. (Ephesians 4:12, 1 Corinthians 12:7)

14.       Prayer - Recognizing our church’s desperate need for God to guide, equip, and empower the church to accomplish its ministry aspirations we seek prayer in all things.(John 15:5, Acts 2:42, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

15.       Relevance - The church fulfills the purposes of God and therefore should be relevant in its context and community. True relevance is understanding culture and    responding to hurts and needs with the gospel, sacrifical love, and selfless ministering. Life is too short to spend it doing something irrelevant. Seeking wealth, fame, and power are not relevant reasons for living. Changing people’s lives and their eternal destinies is! This is the exciting privilege that God has given us.  (Matthew 25:31-46, Ephesians 3:10-11, Philemon 4-7)
